In April 2023, Shah was made the deputy leader of Shiv Sena by the CM himself. Earlier he was the district chief of Palghar. He held this post even before the split in Shiv Sena. Speaking to Hindustan Times, a Shiv Sena functionary from Palghar said, “Due to some reasons at the organisational level, in April 2023, CM Shinde made Kundan Sankhe the district head of the party in Palghar, but he also made Shah the deputy leader of Palghar to make it clear that he has not been sidelined.”

A woman died after a BMW car hit a two-wheeler in Worli area of Mumbai on Sunday morning. Police have arrested two people in this case. After registering a case against the car driver Rajesh Shah and the passenger Rajrishi Rajendra Singh Bidawat, they were arrested on Sunday evening.
An official from the Worli police station said the woman, identified as Kaveri Nakhwa (45), was travelling on a two-wheeler with her husband Pradeep on Annie Besant Road around 5.30 am when the driver of a BMW car lost control and hit them.
