A huge network of drugs has been busted in the capital Delhi. The Special Cell of Delhi Police has recovered drugs worth thousands of crores of rupees and arrested four accused. According to the Special Cell, the drugs recovered included 562 kg of cocaine and 40 kg of Thailand’s Merwana drugs. The price of cocaine in the international market is Rs 10 crore per kg. According to this, the value of recovered drugs is more than Rs 5 thousand crores.

The Special Cell revealed that the operation was carried out on the basis of inputs received by the police from central intelligence units. Work on this was going on for the last two months. The largest consignment of cocaine so far has been seized in Delhi. So much cocaine has never been seized at once. Once 360 ​​kg of heroin was seized. But cocaine was never caught more than two-four kilos.

Special Cell also informed that 4 people have been arrested in this case. The name of the kingpin among them is Tushar Goyal. He is a resident of Vasant Vihar, Delhi. Along with this, the police have also arrested his associates Aurangzeb and Himanshu. Both of them live together. Aurangzeb drives his car, while the tall Himmashu often accompanies him in this work. According to the police, the name of the fourth accused is Bharat Jain. Bharat Jain had come to Delhi from Mumbai to collect the consignment of cocaine.

Additional Commissioner of Special Cell, Pramod Kushwaha said that the police first recovered 15 kg of cocaine from the arrested accused. After this, on their trail they again reached the warehouse located in Mahipalpur Extension, from where the police raided and recovered the remaining drugs. The cell informed that the recovered drugs were hidden inside the covers of 23 cartoons and 8 US polo shirts. This racket was being operated by a handler from a country in the Middle East. These drugs had reached Delhi from different cities. It was sent from the Middle East to different states as per convenience. From there it used to reach Delhi. Then it was distributed in small and large quantities through the network.
