The controversy that arose in Uttar Pradesh over the order to write the names of shopkeepers on the Kanwar Yatra route during the month of Shravan is now being heard in Bihar as well. Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leaders have now started demanding that a similar decision be implemented in Bihar on the lines of UP. BJP MLA Haribhushan Thakur Bachaul said that once the names are written, pilgrims will go to the shop as per their wish, this will end the quarrel.

Haribhushan Thakur Bachaul, MLA from Bisfi in Madhubani district, is considered a staunch Hindu leader of BJP. He is often in the news for his statements. He has also heated up the politics of the state by giving a statement on the controversy over writing names on the Kanwar Yatra route. Talking to the media on Saturday, Thakur said that whether it is UP or Bihar, the names of the owners should be written on the shops on the Kanwar Yatra route. This will get rid of the disputes that arise later. By having the name written on the shop, Kanwar pilgrims will know who its owner is. This will not cause any hassle.
