Vivo X100 Pro gets a slightly longer 6.78 inch display. It has an LTPO AMOLED panel that comes with 1260 x 2800 pixel resolution. The phone has a 120Hz variable refresh rate. The peak brightness of 3000 nits is also given here. The main difference is that Xiaomi’s phone supports 68 billion colors in the display. It also has a higher pixel per inch density.
Performance
Xiaomi 14 Ultra has Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset. Vivo X100 Pro has Dimensity 9300 chipset. According to reports, gaming performance is slightly better in Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 (via) But the Dimensity 9300 chipset is also no less. Both the phones cannot be said to be less than each other in terms of performance.
Camera
Xiaomi 14 Ultra has four cameras. The main camera has a 50-megapixel 1-inch sensor. It also has OIS support. The other three cameras are also 50 megapixels. Vivo X100 Pro also has a 50-megapixel main camera. The other two cameras in it are also 50 megapixels. A triple camera system is provided here. The Vivo X100 Pro has a 5,400mAh battery. It comes with 100W wired charging. It has a 50W wireless charging feature. As per the company, it can charge up to 50 percent level in just 14 minutes.
Software
Xiaomi 14 Ultra has Android 14 based HyperOS custom skin. Vivo X100 Pro also comes with Android 14 based Funtouch OS 14. Vivo’s phone will be given three years of Android updates while Xiaomi 14 Ultra is said to get Android updates for 4 years.
Overall, both phones carry very high-end specifications. Both phones compete directly with each other in every aspect. Therefore, choosing one can be a very difficult decision. Xiaomi’s phone tries to get ahead by giving 4 years of Android updates, display with more pixels, Snapdragon chipset, while Vivo’s phone tries to get ahead with color production in the camera, 100W fast charging, bigger battery, thinner body.
