The company is offering up to 80 percent discount to users wishing to get the battery replaced in its domestic market. The company is offering discounts on select Xiaomi as well as Redmi brand smartphones. With time the battery unit of old smartphones starts getting weak. ITHome’s Report According to, Xiaomi is offering up to 80 percent discount on selected models of its parent brand and Redmi brand in China. This event has been introduced for a limited time. A total of 32 models support battery replacement, with prices starting at 79.2 yuan (about Rs 930). This event is being organized from September 1 to September 7 till 12 midnight local time.

According to the report, Xiaomi says that “the general decline in mobile phone battery performance means a reduction in the number of mobile phone battery discharge cycles. Users should pay attention to scientific charging and avoid high/low temperatures when using their mobile phones in daily life to extend battery life.”
