Omar’s other opponent in Budgam is the former CM’s main rival PDP’s Aga Syed Muntazir Mehdi. The contest for the Channapura assembly seat is between his party chief Altaf Bukhari, National Conference candidate and businessman Mushtaq Guru, PDP’s Mohammad Iqbal Tramboo and BJP’s Hilal Ahmed Wani.
