Gujarat Weather Update: Many parts of Delhi NCR received rain with strong winds on Sunday, which brought relief to people from humidity. Rain with strong winds was also recorded in Noida. Some parts of Delhi also received rain with strong winds. Delhi Public Works Department said that it received five complaints of waterlogging and uprooted trees from South, Central and Rohini areas. According to the Meteorological Department, once again the weather of heavy rain is going to be formed in the areas of Delhi NCR.
The weather department has predicted cloudy weather and light rain along with strong winds blowing at a speed of 25 to 35 kmph in Delhi NCR areas on Monday. According to IMD, there will be no heavy rain in Delhi during the next 2 days, but after that when the weather changes from August 6, heavy rain will be seen. IMD says that the weather will be bad in Delhi from August 6 to 8. IMD has predicted light to moderate rain during this period. The weather department has also issued a yellow alert regarding this.
The maximum temperature in Delhi on Sunday was recorded at 36 degrees Celsius. This is 1.8 degrees Celsius above normal. The minimum temperature in the national capital was recorded at 27.4 degrees Celsius, which is one degree above the seasonal average. According to IMD, there will be heavy rain in Delhi as well as NCR cities from August 6 to 8. There will be light to moderate rain in various cities of NCR including Delhi. IMD has issued a yellow alert regarding this. Strong winds will also blow during this period.
However, before August 6, people may have to face humid heat. In recent days, heavy rains were seen in the cities of Delhi NCR. Due to this, many areas of Delhi were flooded. Statistics show that about 80 percent of the rain that has occurred so far has fallen in these six days only. On June 28, 228.1 mm of water fell in just 24 hours, whereas on August 1, 107.6 mm of rain was recorded.
